Itinerary:
Come on out for some hiker conditioning - slow pace. Bring a daypack or backpack loaded with as much weight as you feel comfortable carrying. I'm carrying 30lbs so please be patient with my slowness.

We'll explore as much of Nose Hill as we can fit in to 3 hours, stopping for a short lunch/snack break. We will be going up and down the hills in the park with some breaks in between on the flat to catch our breath and then continue on to other hills. Be prepared to climb hills!

Trails may be muddy and slippery. Ice traction may be required at times.

Required Items to Bring:
Sturdy footwear and layered clothing.
Water, snacks
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Some form of ice traction
Poles

How to Get There:
Event Directions:
If you are coming from the NORTH, drive south on 14 St. There is a right turn to the park at Berkley Gate after 14 St if you get to the 64 Ave parking lot you have gone too far. No worries since turning around is no problem on 14 St.
If coming from the SOUTH, the Berkley Gate parking lot is after the 64Ave parking lot. If you go past Nose Hill and Berkshire Blvd, you have gone too far. No worries since lots of places to turn around on 14 St.

I will be in the parking lot by the sign.
