Itinerary:
Glacier National Park is one of the gems in America's National Parks system. The plan is to spend about a week exploring some of the hikes around Logan Pass and Many Glacier. We would car camp in St Mary for the week. From St Mary, it is about a 29km drive to Logan Pass while Many Glacier is about 34km away.

Here are some of the possibilities:

Logan Pass:
Hidden Lake- 9.6km return/376m gain (Wildflower meadows; glaciers; jagged peaks)
The Garden Wall- 18.9km return/244m gain (Wildflower meadows; jagged peaks; wildlife viewing)

Many Glacier:
Cracker Lake- 17.9km return/347m gain (Impressive lake beneath towering cliffs);
Grinnell Glacier- 17.6km return/518m gain ( A close-up look at the glacier)
Iceberg Lake- 15km return/372m gain (The name says it all)
Ptarmigan Tunnel- 17.9km return/706m gain ( Hike to an alpine lake then up to a 180ft tunnel through a rockwall)
Swift Current Pass- 24.3 km return/872m gain (Some of the best views in the park)

This trip is best suited to fit/experienced hikers. We will need to keep a brisk pace on the longer hikes and also to allow time for exploring. Also, in order to keep costs to a minimum, all participants will be expected to share a tent. Please indicate your preferences when signing up.

A $70.00 deposit will be required from each participant by June 23, 2010 in order to reserve campsites. In the event that the campground is full, your deposit will be returned to you. There will be no refunds after cut-off unless a suitable replacement is found for you.

PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
- PC Online Banking Email Money Transfer or Cheque payments only
- If using email money transfer, my email address is bourque.marcel@gmail.com
- Cheques will have to reach me before the cut-off date.
