A non-technical hike in a little travelled area to a summit that rewards with views of Mist Mountain and the Highwood Range. Participants need to be in good shape for a steady hiking pace. We follow an old exploration road that gradually winds up the SE ridge of Mount Lipsett to treeline. We emerge from the trees to grassy meadows and continue on to the summit of Mount Lipsett. We return the same way. Please do not be in a hurry to get back to get to Calgary, we are out to enjoy the day-hiking time may vary.

Please note that this is not a speed demon's hike(getting to the top in record time) nor is it for very slowpokes, we will be hiking at a moderate pace on gentler grades and at a lower pace on steeper terrain. If you're not sure about a hike, feel free to contact the coordinator and remember to always hike within your ability in order to be able to keep up with the group. If you have not hiked in the mountains before nor recently hiked with 550M+, this hike is not for you. If you're used to "very slowpoke-paced hikes" then this hike is not for you. PLEASE NOTE: This is an exploratory trip-coordinator not done this one.
