This ride starts off with a climb up the Powderface trail, then on to Prairie Link to return via the Prairie Creek trail.

The ride is ~12 kms with lots of hills. It is best suited for experienced intermediate riders.

Required Items to Bring:
- Mountain Bike, well maintained
- Helmet
- Snacks
- Water (at least 2 liters)
- Tools, Tube and Pump
- Clothing for all weather conditions

The Powderface trailhead is 21.7 kms west of Bragg Creek on Highway 66. The parking lot is on the right hand side just past Elbow Falls.

Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $20.70 (calculated at total Km * $0.18, effective Wednesday, September 08, 2010). This is based on $0.08/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle.
