Please read the complete description before signing up.
From Bragg Creek we ride south on 22x until the intersection with Route 66. We take a left (East) and follow Highway 22 for approximately 18 km then turn right on to Priddis Valley Rd. We follow Priddis Valley Rd South until it ends at Plummers Rd. We turn Right on Plummers Rd (going West). Note that Plummers Rd comes to a T intersection and we turn left (it is still Plummers Rd) after the turn. We follow Plummers Rd for approximately 15 km. Plummers Rd end at the intersection with 762. We turn right and follow 762 for 16 km back to Highway 22. From here we return the way we came on 22x.
Please Beware of the following:
-There is a 9 km section of Plummers Rd that is currently being resurfaced. It is very rideable, but we may encounter short sections of loose gravel. I rode through this section on Wed, July 21 with no problems.
-This Route has 4 to 5 significant hills with numerous smaller hills. It is expected that participants will be able to maintain an average speed of 25 kph even taking into acount the hills.
-We will meet at/near Frontier Candy & Ice Cream - right at the stop sign, then left into the Bragg Creek Shopping Centre. |
