Calling on early risers, since days are getting shorter.

This hike starts at the Burstall Trail. It's one that is rarely done, so come out and see waterfalls on the way to the toe of French Glacier. Please note in the past week I've hiked/scrambled and been hit by snow squall, so remember it's that time of the year that you need to be fully prepared for all weather condition.Be prepared for a long day! Do not be in a rush to get back to Calgary, we want to enjoy the day. If weather forecast changes, and it rains this event will get cancelled.

**Explorer Trip: This trip is suited to strong, experienced hikers; you are expected to be self-sufficient. Your Coordinator has not done this one before, if you have GPS bring it along and download track.

PACE:
Please note that this is not a speed demon's hike(getting to the top in record time) nor is it for very slowpokes. If you can't hike as a group and need to be ahead of all and create huge distance within group pls DO NOT sign up. We will be hiking at a Moderate pace on Gentler grades and at a Slower pace on Steeper terrain. If you're not sure about a hike, feel free to contact the coordinator's and remember to always hike within your ability in order to be able to keep up with the group. If you have not hiked before in the mountains probably a good idea to select another hike with lower elevation and build up from their.

Required Items to Bring:
