GemTrek “Kananaskis Lakes” topo map. www.peakfinder.com Description: We’ll ascend the steep slope behind the Fortress Junction Service Station and gain Opal Ridge about ½km north of the South Peak. A short walk along the ridge will take us to the South Peak with great views of the surrounding mountains. We’ll return the way we came up. | |||||||
