Distance: 12-13km Trailhead: 1,680m Isola Peak: 2,494m Elevation Gain: Approx. 800m
IMPORTANT - Read: An old road crosses Livingstone River and heads west along Isolation Creek. We will follow this path for the first 3.4km, then head up a wooden slope to gain the southeast ridge, following it to treeline. Above treeline we will head up the broad slope to the summit if condiitions permit. Most of this is expected to be wind swept. Post-hike dinner - maybe at the Longview Saloon or Marv's in Black Diamond. (Route 40 in Turner Valley closed last year. Marv's may close at 5pm ... might end up at the saloon).
