Itinerary:
Please join me for a workout in Calgary's first outdoor fitness park for adults located in Briar Hill - Houndsfield Heights. Some of us who have been at it for a few weeks have discovered the benefits of this equipment and how to use it more effectively each week.

I'll be using the following document as a guide each week: Briar Hill Outdoor Fitness Park 12-week Program
Do not be concerned about your level of fitness and experience - we all are working at our own pace so there is no pressure to be at any particular level at any time. I'm a beginner so am starting at the beginning :-))

For those who have time after, we can stop over at the mall for a coffee, tea, snacks, etc. in the food court.


Required Items to Bring:
- layered exercise clothing appropriate to changing weather conditions, including gloves and a toque or headband
- some people prefer boots for warmth, some find that runners are adequate
- small towel to sit on as the equipment can be cold on the bottom at times
- water bottle
- snacks if desired

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Park in the parking area for North Hill Centre, located between 14St and 19St NW, between 14th Ave and 16th Ave NW.
Fitness equipment is located in the green space at the far north-west side of parking lot, between Louise Riley Library and the fire hall.
Transit: C-train stops right across the street: Lion's Park Stn
