Itinerary: | |||||||
Time to get out and ski! This trip is for beginner / novice skiers who have some XC experience, and who are comfortable skiing along track-set trails with minor changes in elevation. Both skate and classic skiers are welcome. the pace will be slow to moderate pace (3 - 5km per hour) on this out and back trip. Slower, patient skiers with more experience are more than welcome to join. :) We'll begin at the Great Divide Trailhead and follow the old 1A towards the west for approximately 1 - 1.5 hours, and return via the same trail. Please note that the trail was set to be trackset on November 5th. Should the trail not be in good condition on the day of the event, we will relocate to another trail of similar difficulty in the same area.
