Bowness Park has many trails, but the best one is the hidden, forested path that remains a local secret. The path along the lagoon takes you to this treed hike. Climbing dirt paths and stairs elevates your heart rate as you trek through evergreens. Take a breather and enjoy peephole views of the Bow River below before reaching the summit and the neighbourhood of Valley Ridge. We'll then backtrack through the forest, cross over the Bow River under Stoney Trail and follow the pathway through Baker Park. Depending on time, we might walk to Bowmont Park before returning to Bowness Park.

All dogs must remain on leash and under control throughout this hike.
