Itinerary:
Only experienced mountain bikers please, because there is lots of climbing on this route. We will ride as a group, since this is bear territory.

From lower Boulton Creek parking lot in PL Park, we climb to Elk Pass via Fox Creek and the Hydroline trail. Then it's a fun downhill to Elk Lakes, where we will stash the bikes for a 1.5 km walk to a lakeside viewpoint, which is our lunch spot. Then we return mostly the same way, but taking the Elk Pass Trail back instead of Hydroline.

Total distance is ~22 kms return. The pace will be moderate, but steady because we have a lot of distance to cover. There is 1100 plus feet of climbing, but it's all on smooth double track with only one section where most people will push their bikes.
