Itinerary:
Distance: 7.6km
Elevation Gain: 1,117m
Pace: Moderate
Eye Candy: Views over Canmore, seeing Knife-Edge Ridge
Difficulty: This is a very steep hike

We will head up to the not-built-teahouse, have lunch there, then continue on to gain an additional 200m of elevation to the summit ridge. Here we can see the knife-edge crux of Lady Mac, with sheer drops on either side. This will be the turn-around point.

· Do not be in a rush to get back to Calgary. We will be out to enjoy the day and event duration may vary.

Please note, the coordinator has not done this hike. Please have patience with route finding.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Take the Trans Canada Highway west to Canmore. Take Exit 91, signed Canmore and Highway 1A. After curving to the stop sign, turn left (east) onto Bow Valley Trail/Hwy 1A. Turn left (north) onto Elk Run Blvd. Proceed uphill. Immediately after crossing the bridge over Cougar Creek, turn right into the paved parking lot.
