Itinerary:
Yeah, this is one of my favorite trails so I am heading out to Banff to ride Stoney Squaw - yes, again!

Park off the Trans Canada Highway below Mt Norquay (Day use area south of the highway) and ride up the road 6km to Norquay's parking lot where the trail starts. Its a fairly steep, rooty 2 km climb on Upper Stoney Squaw. There are two options down from the summit to Lower Stoney Squaw trail which is a fast, often rocky, flowy 5.2 km downhill section on Lower Stoney Squaw that ends at the TransCanada Highway.

As it isn't too long of ride we may ride back into town and ride up and take a trip down Star Wars.

There are some steep parts on the descent and technical sections. You should be a solid intermediate rider.

We may go for drinks and snacks afterward so consider this when carpooling!
