Itinerary:
A new event designed to be inclusive to our non-biker friends. This will involve two groups, one winter mountain biking and one snow-shoeing in the same area, then going for some inclusive apres-shoe at the Bragg Creek Saloon.

This event is for the SnowShoe 1/2 of the program

The forescast is for Sunny and +0 !!
Rode this loop last weekend and had a great time! For the most part there was less snow than the south side trails. Only a few deeper spots and almost no ice!

Here is a video of part of a ride done a couple weeks back-
http://contour.com/stories/fi020026

The plan is for the riders to go up Long Distance and back via Reconnect and Bragging Rights trails. We snowshoers will be on trails in the area. If there is little snow, it will be a hike, poles and/or icers may be handy.

From the amount of logging there, these trails may not be there in the summer! There are at least a half dozen new logging roads to cross and numerous clear cuts now. Markings on some existing trees indicate some parts of the trail will be gone - or at least no longer be in the woods. Better hike it while you can!

If the weather turns crappy and it doesn't look good for out there we will change the plan, but if you don't get an e-mail the night before, we're going to West Bragg.

The parking lot may be pretty full out there, but the bike trails will not be busy. We saw only a few hikers on our route last weekend, so no worries about crowded trails!
