Itinerary:
We had SO much fun this past weekend, we're doing it again!

There is a volunteer work party on Saturday, August 31 at 9AM, meeting at the Elbow Ranger Station, to build trail and maybe bridges and tread on Bobcat trail.

The good news is we dragged a lot of really heavy wood up the trail on Aug 24, so it will be generally lighter work and trail building.

Many of us get a lot of use out of this area and it takes a TON of work to get trails as buff as the West Bragg Creek teams gets and keeps them. We owe them a great big thanks and I can't think of a better way of repaying them than by helping out.

Every work party is a little different but generally there is a range of tasks to be done, if you don't think you're up for heavy lifting, please sign up anyways.

Bobcat is the long-rumoured connector trail between Ranger Summit / Strange Brew and Ridgeback / Tom Snow and it is coming to fruition.

Hiking boots or work boots and long pants are recommended as are any other safe work equipment such as safety glasses and gloves.

For all attending, could you please print out the Volunteer agreement, fill it in and and bring it along that would save some time up front:

.

Bike + Helmet are optional, we may be able to do a ride after building but usually I find the trail work is exercise enough for the day.
