Itinerary:

The Sunday Morning Group Run. Each week we will be out for a friendly run followed traditionally by going out for breakfast/brunch. If your training for that 10k, half-marathon or marathon or just keeping fit, we will be out for some longer distance relaxed pace runs.

At the 9:30 start time we will be starting out as two groups. One group running ~5min15sec/km group, and a second group at ~6min30sec/km

We have a few people who are doing marathon training so will be starting early. That means this week we will have 2 start times

  • 9:30am - 17.1k loop - the main groups
  • 7:40am - extra 18k loop for a total of 35.1k

Come out at 9:30, or do both (starting at 7:40 for those of us looking for extra distance). Each week we will get out as the weather gets warmer

This group is targeted for runners who have had basic instruction, or have some experience running. You should be able to run non-stop for at least 45 minutes. We will decide as a group about doing 10&1s during each loop.

With having 2 different groups please indicate what sort of pace you would be most comfortable with when you sign up

These runs are intended to help improve endurance and distance and just generally to get out and have fun.

With the two different loops you can join us to run both loops starting at 7:40, or just the 17.1k (starting at 9:30am) Please let me know if you want to do the longer loop

For those interested we will be heading out for breakfast or coffee after the run at a local eatery. Mmmmm food.
