Itinerary:
We will be starting from the Glennfield entrance but will be parking at the McInnis and Holloway Funeral Home – Fish Creek Chapel 14441 Bannister Road Southeast, which is across the street from the entrance. Do not park inside Fish Creek Park after the gate or your vehicle will be locked in for the night as the gate closes at 8pm.

Heading west on the paved trails, under Macleod Trail we’ll continue on single track on the south side of the creek, mostly dry with a few icy spots, technical sections, lots of roots, several 5 to 10, minutes climbs but nothing too extreme. We'll be making the odd stop after climbs and a snack break about the half way point at Bridge #1.

*Please be advised that you must stay with the group.

Fish Creek Park Single Track Trail Map

This will be a relatively difficult fast pace ride with a few challenging sections, riders are expected to have some Mountain Bike experience and a good fitness level.

The elevation gain for this ride is around 800 to 1200 ft over approximately 2 hours, 18km to 22km range overall.

Sunset is at 8:30pm so we should be back by then, but you may want to bring your lights for your helmet and/or handlebars, ideally 10W or greater, or 500+ lumens. Most of us are running with light 1200 to 1800 lumens. Come out for a spin, calling for +14, trails are in good shape, a little muddy in a few spots but we're staying high away from the creek where it's dry, 30% ice covered, hard packed snow, but mostly dirt, great workout and a ton of FUN! I'm still sunning with my studs, may be the last week. Text me if you have any questions, 403-680-9516
