This is a lovely trail that climbs & swoops through a beautiful foothills setting where one can reach satisfying viewpoints that provide vistas of the Elbow Valley & Prairie Mountain. Please note that there will be some steep parts (both up and down) & that the group will be walking at a moderate pace.
Please note that the duration time is approximate and the return time to Calgary is not guaranteed; always expect the unexpected & come prepared.


Required Items to Bring:
-Lunch, snacks and plenty of water
-Hiking boots are a must (runners are not acceptable)

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Follow Highway 8 to Highway 22 traffic circle, continue to Bragg Creek. Turn left at the 4 way stop in Bragg Creek and drive to the Highway 66 junction. Turn right and follow Highway 66 west until you reach Station Flats parking lot. The parking lot will be on the right hand side of the road approx. 1.5 km past Bill Allen (Pond).

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $31.50 (calculated at total Km * $0.30, effective Friday, April 19, 2024). This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle.
