Picklejar Lakes is so named because fishing for trout is as easy as "pulling pickles from a jar". It is a fly fisherman's dream. The lakes are full of cutthroat trout. The only problem is getting there! This hike is moderate to strenuous and there's tricky footing near the pass. However, you are rewarded with beautiful views. Also, as a warning, grizzlies like this area, as they love to fish.
