Itinerary:
I will be doing an information session to determine the interest in potential trips to the Purcell Lodge on October 11 -13 (Thanksgiving weekend) for a group of about 12 people. This was definitely the highlight of my hiking season in 2012 and the area must be seen to be believed.

In addition to being located in an astounding mountain setting, the Purcell Lodge has excellent facilities: hot showers, saunas, a commercial kitchen, a cash bar, telescopes to view wildlife up close and a small library.

I will be showing pictures and maps from our previous trips depicting the 11 km hike in as well as pictures of the Lodge itself.

People will be able to sign up for the trip immediately after the presentation. The approximate cost for the trip will be:

- 2 night stay at Purcell, plus dinners and guiding services: $450 per person.

- Snacks and Treats for group: $5-30 per person for 3 days.

Other costs: Carpool to Golden, carpool to trailhead.

A long weekend in the Purcell Valley: Priceless.
