Are you looking for a way to truly unwind before the weekend? I discovered yoga nidra a while ago and continue to be amazed at how it washes away the week's stresses and leaves you unbelievable relaxed. This is a drop-in class. No experience necessary and beginners are welcome. Mat rentals available for $2 if you don't have one. $20 per drop in class, or if you are new to the studio, I believe unlimited drop-in for a month is $39. Please arrive at 6:00pm to sign-in for the class at the studio, or you can pre-register online here.

Description from Yoga and Beyond:
Restorative yoga focuses on relaxing the body with active restful poses, using props to help relieve stress, rejuvenate the spirit and restore inner balance. Yoga Nidra is an active relaxation through guided meditation. It is practiced in a resting posture to bring us into the hypnogogic state between sleeping and dreaming. When we stay in this alpha wave for 20 minutes it is similar to sleepling for 4 hours.
