Itinerary:
Following an informal poll, there was a buncha interest even with the short notice so let's do it!

Expecting +13 on Friday, great October weather and a big change from yesterday. Hopefully things will dry up Thursday and Friday so it won't be too wet. This will be a moderate to fast pace ride, riders are expected to have mountain bike experience and be prepared for a challenging climb to start. We'll be going up Sugar Momma, then down Bob Cat and out on Ridge Back. You'll need a good bike light for the ride. Several people were interested in a BBQ and bonfire after, so Scott is bringing some firewood and he & I will bring BBQs if anyone is interested in throwing something on. If someone else has some firewood that would be swell.
Bring something to cook and something (hot or cold) to drink. Bring some extra clothes to put on for this part too!!

Let me know if you can bring something to contribute. If anyone has a lantern or two, please bring them along.

We will be starting at the parking lot at the old Allen Bill Pond so we can use the firepit after the ride.

The white stuff is coming so we'd better enjoy this while we can!

Required Items to Bring:
-A mountain bike in working conditions - Bike Helmet .
- Good lights-at least 10 watts or 250 lumens along with batteries good for 2+ hours.
- Backup light - good flashlight at least so you're not totally in the dark if there is a problem with your main light.
- Warm clothes, in layers, as for XC skiing (cycling and skiing generate similar amounts of body heat).
- Backpack with water or warm drink in a bottle, snacks, dry socks and extra clothing layers.
- Warm clothes for the BBQ afterwards!
