Please read the entire event description and "Required Items to Bring" before signing up. Thank you. Distance: ~15 km Elevation Gain (net): ~250 m We will start at Station Flats, hike the Tom Snow trail and return along the Ridgeback Trail. The trails are mostly snow-covered with some bare spots. Footwear traction will be a must. We will be maintaining a moderate pace with stops to catch our breath. The trails have some steep sections and climb / descend a number of times. Winter Safety Conditions: this trail goes through unrated (front range) terrain and there is little snow (below ankle height) on the trails at this time. Coordinator will verify conditions on the Saturday before the event with Park staff. Please note that Coordinators are not trained guides; please conduct your own due diligence before signing up for any event. | |||||||

How to Get There: | |||||||
Event Directions: | From Richmond Road, head south on Sarcee to Hwy 8 westbound. Continue on Hwy 8 to Hwy 22 southbound. At Bragg Creek, turn left at the 4 way stop to continue on Highway 22 for a short way to Highway 66. Go west (right) on Highway 66 for ~10 km to Station Flats (right side of the road). | ||||||
