Itinerary:

Veronique & Jon spent three and half weeks in Nepal in search of adventure in October / November 2014. Their trip included some great trekking on the Annapurna Sanctuary Trail and the Ghorepani Loop.

It was a challenging and yet beautiful trip giving them the opportunity to explore the Himalayas. They also spent time finding out about the Nepalese culture and searching for the elusive Bengal Tiger as well as the Sloth Bear in the Chitwan National Park.

The session held at MEC downtown will be an opportunity to share some travel stories, check out some photos, talk about the packing and equipment and answer any questions that other COC Members may have about this trip in case others wish to organize a similar adventure in the future.

Agenda:
      Trekking in the Himalayas
Macchappuchhre (Fishtail) Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp
      Nepalese Culture
      Wildlife in Chitwan National Park
