It's snowed here and the temp will be nice-below 0 but not cold at all-perfect for skiing. This trip is for all levels from beginner to advanced. Both skate and classic skiers are welcome. This is a "go at your own pace event" You can turn back anytime you want. You can go as far or as little as you want. One continuous straight trail. We'll begin at the Great Divide Trailhead and follow the old 1A towards the west. The trail is fairly flat and track set trail with some gently rolling stretches. We will go to the Great Divide picnic area (7.5 km one way), or if you have the energy you can continue 3.5km more(one way) and head into Yoho National park OR if you don't want to ski all the way to the picnic area you don't have to and return via the same trail at anytime you feel like it. A dogsled operation runs on its own track for the first 2 km. | |||||||
