Notes:
Winter Safety Considerations
Entered by Jeff S on March 25, 2015.
Terrain Classification: Unrated front-range terrain. This event is located east of Turner Valley at the Kananaskis entrance sign. This is dry foothills and front range terrain. Snow should be limited particularly on south facing aspects and minimal on north face side.
Conditions: Will monitor weather reports and avalanche reports
Plan: If conditions are unfavourable or if deep snow is encountered, another hike in this area will be selected.
Note that COC event coordinators are volunteers and are not trained guides. All participants are responsible for assessing the current road conditions, current weather conditions, current trail conditions and current avalanche conditions for the trip.
