Last day at Lake Louise! It’s Spring skiing. Snow depth:
178cm. Weather forecast: 13C, sunny all day. To celebrate, Lake Louise is offering a variety of Spring Specials to encourage everyone to come out and enjoy the great snow, incredible views, and festive atmosphere that makes this resort so special. All offers below are valid from April 20 to May 10, 2015. Lake Louise Plus Card - Bonus Days* - Get $30 off full-day Lift Tickets, plus $20 off full-day, regular ticket prices (Ages 13+) for up to 2 friends daily! Lake Louise Season Pass holders – Buddy Passes* - $20 off full-day, regular ticket prices (Ages 13+) for up to 4 friends daily. Other Discount Card or Season Pass holders* - Discount Cards or Season Passes from other ski resorts get $20 off full-day, regular ticket prices (Ages 13+). Offer is valid for card holder only and does not apply to additional persons. This trip is intended for all levels of skiers and boarders. We'll do one or two warmup runs together, and then break off into similar-ability groups for the rest of the day.
Carpool instructions are as
follows: We will meet at the main lodge (Ten Peaks Lodge) at 9 AM on the main level, by the windows facing the ski hill. We'll have lunch at 12:30 pm. You don't have to be with the group for lunch. You may continue skiing or have lunch somewhere else. At the end of the day, we are gathering up at the base in the Ten Peaks Lodge and will leave the hill between 5:00-5:30 pm.
Lift tickets at Louise cost $89 + GST. Please see above for the Spring bonus deals and email Noel if you would like to benefit from the "friend" discount. You can also purchase a 2-pack Louise lift tickets at Costco for $130 + GST. Basic ski/snowboard rental package is about $40. | |||||||

Carpool Cost: | Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $108.00 (calculated at total Km * $0.30, effective Thursday, March 28, 2024). This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle. | ||||||

Winter Safety Considerations Due diligence completed by Noel on May 6, 2015. Terrain Classification: This event is exempt from avalanche planning because we will be skiing at a ski resort. No out of bounds skiing allowed. Note that COC event coordinators are volunteers and are not trained guides. All participants are responsible for assessing the current road conditions, current weather conditions, current trail conditions and current avalanche conditions for the trip.
