Itinerary:
Ride both the New Northern Flow Loop (incl Merlin View) and the Old Southern Flow Loop at West Bragg Creek Trail.

Start with riding the New Northern Flow Loop (Braggin Rights - Merlin View - Reconnect - Long Distance - Braggin Rights).

Regroup at the parking lot to re-hydrate and re-supply and start the Old Southern Flow Loop (Ranger Summit - Bobcat - Sugar Momma - Snagmore - Bounday Ridge).

Expect a long, rewarding day in the saddle with a distance of ~ 34 km with sufficient climbing to satisfy the inner road rider within, but also enough good descending to satisfy the inner down-hiller within.

Pace is expected to be relatively brisk with minimal stops. For those interested we can go to Bragg Creek for refreshments after the ride.

  • Quick-Link or Spare Chain Links

How to Get There:
Event Directions:
  1. Hwy 22 south to Bragg Creek.
  2. Before the 4-way stop in Bragg Creek turn right (Balsam Ave).
  3. Balsam Ave for ~500 meters to T- intersection.
  4. Left onto Centre Ave (turns into Township Road 232).
  5. 10km until West Bragg Creek trail head.
  6. Parking lot on the right hand (North) side of the road if there is room, other wise on the road.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $27.00 (calculated at total Km * $0.30, effective Tuesday, April 16, 2024). This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle.
