Hike Description
This massive area is famous for wildflowers and it should be a prime time showing for us during this day in July. The plan is to follow the Healy Pass Trail all the way to the Pass. From there we will then work our way up onto The Monarch Ramparts and sail along the entire length of it. At the end, we will drop down to Eohippus Lake. The trail from the Lake will lead us to Simpson Pass, which will take us back to the Healy Pass Trail. This will be one gigantic loop completed then we just follow along this trail again for a few kilometers back to the parking lot. We should see bouquet after bouquet after bouquet, countless lakes, Mt. Assiniboine, The Monarch, Pharaoh Peaks, Mt. Bourgeau, to name a mere few. Spending many hours hiking in this area truly offers up a satisfying full feast!
