Itinerary:

Distance: ~8-10KM
Elevation Gain: ~ 940M to "teahouse" + optional 274M to ridge.

Note:Hiking boots are required-sorry no runners.

This hike is not recommended for members who have not yet hiked this year. You should be in good shape for this hike.

This hike is a short steep sharp ascent towards the top of the mountain where the "teahouse" is. The higher you climb the more spectacular the views become. To the south all the peaks of the Bow Valley lie at your feet.(Please note that the "teahouse" is abandoned & therefore does not offer any beverage or food services.)

We will be going at a moderate pace for the duration with few prolonged stops. If you feel that you may not be able to follow at a moderate pace, then you may wish to reconsider this hike.

We will decide at the tea house if there is an interest to go to the ridge (extra 274 M)
