Itinerary:
A favourite of mine. Wonderful mini-parks are hidden throughout established neighbourhoods in Calgary. Roxboro Natural Park is one such secret gem. Top of the escarpment provides expansive views of the area and downtown Calgary. Native grasses, shrubs, and flowers line the path. From dirt path to sidewalks, stairs and along the river pathways, you will travel through Parkhill, Riverdale, Elbow Park and Roxboro. We'll work up a sweat on the Glencoe stairs before looping back through the trendy Mission shopping area back to Roxboro. We can head to a nearby pub afterwards for a social.

Approximate Distance: 6.3 km
Elevation Gain: 100m, some small hills and stairs.
Pace: Moderate with time to take photos.
