Itinerary:

Saturday is supposed to be brilliant so we'll head out to Upper Kananaskis Lake at the Peter Lougheed Provincial Park then spend the rest of the day paddling exploring the lake and its teenie islands. Great way to spend a weekend in the countryside. We'll stop somewhere on the lake to have a late potluck afternoon lunch by the waters. Bring something you'd like to share.

NOTE:
Your boat should be equipped with a bailer and you should have a whistle on you when in the boat.

If you don't have a boat, you can rent one at:

- food for the potluck
- kayak, paddle, PFD
- whistle, throw bag with tow rope, bailer
- self rescue equipment

How to Get There:
Event Directions:From highway 1, turn south onto highway 40. Keep going until you see the sign that says Peter Lougheed Provincial Park. Turn right at the next junction. Follow the trail that says Kananaskis Lakes Trail. Go past the visitor centre. When you eventually see a small sign that says Upper Lake, turn into that and meet by the boat ramp.
