Distance: Roughly 18.5 km
roundtrip This event consist of hike and scramble. We would hike up the Floe Lake Trail for about six km to an avalanche slope and then head straight to the summit. The difficulty is similar to Heart Mountain. Bob's trip report can be found here http://bobspirko.ca/OtherScrambles/BC/Numa/NumaMtn.html This event is for strong hikers only. Minimum requirement: Heart mountain or equivalent. This will be a moderate scramble (which is much more challenging than a difficult hike). Participants must be fit and able to keep a moderate pace. You must agree to stay with the group at all time. Do not sign up if you can't handle wet rocks or snowy condition. Trip will be cancelled if it is going to rain that day. If snows, then NO. :P | |||||||
