Itinerary:
Night-XC-Ski on groomed trails in the West Bragg Creek area. You need a GOOD HEADLIGHT, ideally one mounted on a helmet as for MTB night-riding. However, a more conventional headlight on your forehead should work as well since we will be on groomed/track-set trails.

We will try to get as many packed / groomed trails under the skis as available but limit the duration to about two hours.
This event is for EXPERIENCED intermediate to advanced skiers. You will be required to keep up at 7-10 km/h, be technically strong enough to master downhills with your headlight. Cause this is a night-ski, I want the group to stay close together and gather frequently.

Required Items to Bring:
- HEADLIGHT, all cross-country equipment and wax kit.
- Snack, water
- Extra layers of clothing
- Day pack
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
- Thermos with something warm to drink

How to Get There:
Event Directions:From Calgary, take Hwy 22 south to Bragg Creek. Before the 4-way stop in Bragg Creek turn right (Balsam Ave). Take Balsam Ave for ~500 meters to T-intersection. Left onto Centre Ave (turns into Township Road 232). 10km until West Bragg Creek trailhead. Parking lot on the right hand (North) side of the road.
