Itinerary:
Supposed to be +5c and possible flurries in the day maybe. Join us this Wednesday for a night ride around the pathways starting in daylight and finishing about dusk. It is not supposed to be too cold so bring your lights (a fatbike or studded tires wouldn't hurt but as of today, there is NO ice along the route) and let's get out there! Novice and experienced, regulars and first timers welcome.

Our challenge tonight is to keep up with JVB and his new eMotion 'Big Bud' Fat Bike.

We will meet at The fish hatchery parking lot and the route will be down the Bow Pathway to Riverbend and back on the Irrigation Canal.

We will be doing a shorter ride than some weeks but then after the riding will relocate to the Hose And Hound around 8.00pm for refreshments and wings.
Depending on weather the event may become more of just a pub night or if you are only going to join us for the pub, please make that clear to your coordinator so we aren't waiting for you.

Required Items to Bring:
-A mountain bike with studded tires (or really wide knobby tires set at lower pressure should work).
- Bike Helmet with a thin toque or balaclava (A Ski Helmet also works well for this event).
- Good lights-at least 10 watts or 250 lumens along with batteries good for 2+ hours.
- Backup light - good flashlight at least so you're not totally in the dark if there is a problem with your main light.
- Warm clothes, in layers, as for XC skiing (cycling and skiing generate similar amounts of body heat).
- Backpack with water or warm drink in a bottle, snacks, dry socks and extra clothing layers.
- $ for rehydrating and wings
