Itinerary:
Here is hoping the weather is co-operative! :)

This is not really a hike, it will be a slow walk.

To the casual motorist driving along the highway, the park seems fairly unspectacular (and is easily missed), but more than 300 species of plants have been recorded and more than 60 species of birds are known to be within its boundaries. There will be flowers to photograph and we may see birds, elk, and smaller mammals to be enjoyed along short interpretive trails. People may be photographing in one spot for long periods of time, setting up tripods for the perfect shot. If this does not appeal to you please DO NOT sign up. We will be going to Many Springs Trail and possibly Middle Lake.

Your coordinator lives in Canmore and will meet you at the event. We will be meeting at the Visitors Centre Parking Lot. Drivers will be needed. The coordinator is organizing a carpool location in Calgary and if anyone wants to volunteer to coordinate the carpool please email me. Otherwise everyone who signs up is responsible for organizing yourselves. If you tell me you can drive I rely on this information to be accurate! You can also call me that morning.
