Trailhead Elevation: 1,402M High Point: 1,652M Gross Elevation Gain:~365M Distance: 11.3KM loop This trail climbs & swoops through a beautiful foothills setting where one can reach satisfying viewpoints that provide vistas of the Elbow Valley & Prairie Mountain. There will be some steep parts so be prepared for a workout. I just hiked this trail on Saturday (May 28) and there were some muddy sections. I am hoping with the nice weather this week it will dry those portions out but be prepared. I will meet everyone by the bathrooms in the parking lot and will be wearing my black COC volunteer hat.

How to Get There: | |||||||
Event Directions: | Coming from the North: follow the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1) to the Highway 22 overpass, follow Highway 22 through Bragg Creek to the Highway 66 Junction, turn right and follow Highway 66 to the Station Flats parking area. From the South: connect onto Highway 66 and follow the directions to Elbow Falls until you reach the Station Flats parking lot. The parking lot is on the right hand side of the road 1.5 km past Allen Bill (formerly) Pond.
