Itinerary:
The 4th Street Lilac Festival goes up 4th Street SW, which will be closed to traffic, between 13 Ave and Elbow Drive. The Festival runs from 10 AM to 6 PM and offers an array of musical talent, artisan vendors, quality entertainment and some perfect people watching. Approximately 100,000 people usually attend and it is crowded!

We will meet in the park on 4th St between 12 and 13 Ave SW at the Cenotaph (War Memorial) at 10 AM. We will walk up 4th St as a group or split into smaller groups and stay for as long or as little as we want, with an expected event duration of three hours. This event will proceed rain or shine!

Note to transit users - due to service on the downtown CTrain section, there will be shuttle buses running on this day. Please check the Calgary Transit website as you may need to leave yourself extra time.

Dress for all types of weather as we may be out for three hours or so.
