This is the Big Sister of the very well known and easily recognizable Three Sisters. This is a moderate scramble. We’ll start climbing the back of the Big Sister via drainage/gully. It may involve two very short low-5th class climbing.

This is for experienced and fit scramblers who can keep a steady pace for several hours. Microspike and iceaxe are a must as the last little part could still have snow. VERY IMPORTANT!!! If I don't know you, please send me an email with your past month hiking activities or you will be moved to waiting list.

It will be quite steep and slabby after the treeline. There is a 5-meter downclimb near the top and this may not be fun for those who don't have much scrambling experience.
