Itinerary:
With the full moon last Monday, it is a great time of year for a Friday night ride followed by a BBQ.

We will be starting at the parking lot at Allen Bill Pond so we can use the firepits after the ride.

Exact route to be determined but R1, R2, R3 to SnL then Sugarmama or Bobcat down may be a good route. We'll adjust for the riders that show up.

KimH has volunteered to bring his BBQ so we'll cook up some smokies and have some snacks. Bring something to cook and something (hot or cold) to drink. Bring some extra clothes to put on for this part too!!

If anyone has a lantern or two, please bring them along. Firewood will be needed as well.

Required Items to Bring:
-A mountain bike in working conditions - Bike Helmet .
- Lights not likely needed lumens along with batteries good for 2+ hours.
- Backup light - good flashlight at least so you're not totally in the dark if there is a problem with your main light.
- Warm clothes, in layers, as for XC skiing (cycling and skiing generate similar amounts of body heat).
- Backpack with water or warm drink in a bottle, snacks, dry socks and extra clothing layers.
- Warm clothes for the BBQ afterwards!
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
- Spare tire tube, mini air pump, tools for adjustments and minor repairs.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Follow Highway 8 (Glenmore Trail) west then Hwy 22 south to Bragg Creek. At the 4 way stop, continue south on Hwy 22 for 3.4km then turn right (west) onto Hwy 66. Continue on Hwy 66 for 9.7km to Allen Bill Pond day use area.
