Mount Fairview provides one of the best viewpoints of Lake Louise and the surrounding mountains. Once on the summit, it seems as if Lake Louise is directly beneath your feet over a kilometer below, for the modest effort expended, it offers some of the best views in the area. From the summit one can see Mt. St-Piran, Niblock, Whyte, Victoria, Temple.

The trail starts near the Lake Louise boat house, climbing gently for 3.7 km (595m elevation gain) to the Saddleback. A well- maintained trail then winds its way up to the summit through a boulder field.

It should be a beautiful day. Due to the heat please bring lots of water and lunch as we will stay at the summit for a well-deserved rest while enjoying the beautiful views & the great company !

Your coordinator will not be returning to Calgary. Please make sure you indicate on your registration if you are willing to drive and how many people including yourself you can take with you.
