This trail follow the Grotto Creek drainage through a spectacular canyon. With excellent rock scenery, hopefully waterfall trickles this time of year and Indian Pictographs, this is a popular hike. We will hike through the canyon to an open valley which we will then follow for as long as the group likes. The valley floor is undulating with lots of rocks and boulders. Footwear with good wet grip is useful.

The hike involves some creek crossings but at this time of year water levels should be low to zero. Be prepared for wet feet however.

We'll head over to Canmore for a social before heading back. So all day event.
