some cross country ski experience is required; not best for first timers This trail is double track set for the first few kilometers then reduced to single track set. Due to the flooding, we will see how far we can go and return

Take Hwy 1 west 130km to Lake Minnewanka Road (exit just before Banff). Take Lake Minnewanka Road to Lake Minnewanka Parking Area (the winter trailhead for Cascade Fire Road).
