Itinerary:
Priority being given to those signed up for the West Coast Trail event in June. If there are spots left over we will add you then.

We will start Saturday morning at the Barrier Lake Dam then hike in Jewell Bay campsite. Campsite has some basic facilities. Suitable for those new to backpacking but you should be able to carry heavy backpack into the campsite. Note: Likely still to have snow on the trail and expect late winter conditions. Microspikes MANDATORY. Snowshoes are an option but most likely needed. BEAR SPRAY MANDATORY.
Distance: ~4 km one way
Elevation to campsite:~ Mostly FLAT, well mostly

Notes:
- Fun anything goes event. If you're uptight about stuff, this is not the event for you.
- This is a tent sharing co-ed event. Each site's tent pad can only have one tent per site.
- In the evening we will have a simple potluck dinner party. Bring something you'd like to share and for yourself if you have specific food needs. Just bring enough for about 1/3 of the participants or else there will be a lot of leftovers.
- Have a potluck breakfast in the morning before heading out.

Itinerary:
SATURDAY – Morning drive out to the trail head, haul in to the site, set up camp, chill for a bit, explore the area. Have a potluck dinner.

Optional activities:
- Do a quick trip to Prairie View Lookout via Jewell Pass for the views.(Approx 10k round trip, 500m elevation gain if you are speedy)
