A great scramble in the Crowsnest Pass.

This trip has significant scrambling sections. While not overly difficult, you should have prior scrambling experience and be comfortable moving on scree. All participants must bring sturdy hiking boots and a rock helmet.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Take Mcleod Trail south and exit onto Highway #22x westbound. Stay on 22x until you get to the junction with Highway #22 and turn left towards Turner Valley. Drive along Highway #22 past Turner Valley and Black Diamond all the way down to Highway #3. Take highway #3 westbound. Drive 14 km past the Frank Slide Interpretive Center and turn onto the Allison Creek Road. The trailhead is located 9.7 km up this road(watch for hiking sign).

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $144.00 (calculated at total Km * $0.30, effective Thursday, April 18, 2024). This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle.
