I have spent a fair amount of time putting this route together and I guarantee you won't be disappointed, it's an absolutely gorgeous ride - 2 thumbs way up!

This is intended to be a moderately paced cycle with a leisurely feel (meaning we will make brief stops from time to time to enjoy the views, snap a photo or just take a break. From the Railway Café we will head north over Glenmore Trail, through Sandy Beach, Lindsay Park and around the Stampede grounds to Inglewood. From there we will do a brief loop through the downtown area between Fort Calgary & the Peace Bridge before making our way south along the Bow River all the way to Fish Creek Park where we'll enjoy a 30 minute break at Annie's Bakery & Café. Afterwards we'll continue to the western edge of the park then head north to the Glenmore Reservoir and back to Heritage Park.

Click Here for a complete map of our route.

Riders with experience in 50+km rides who have road, hybrid or mountain bike in good working order are welcome to register. Please come prepared for a steady yet casual pace - we are out to enjoy the day, not rush through it.
