The Interpretive Guides Association is hosting a Wild About Nature marketplace which will have presentations on storytelling, climate change, forest fires, guided walks on edible plants, urban poling, nature connections as well as workshops on survival, map and compass, the art of questioning, and more. The Marketplace will showcase local businesses, parks staff, organizations, as well as advice on insurance products, guide promotions, etc.
The event runs from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. We will have a booth at this event and are looking for volunteers to help us promote the club to potential members. If you would like to help out, please tell us in the comments when you sign up.
There will be no carpool because the coordinators have to be there early to set up.
