Have you travelled in the last 14 days?
Are you showing any symptoms, been in contact with a confirmed case, or been tested positive at all?
Have you read and understood the current restrictions that are club policy during the COVID-19 situation? These can be found on the Home page of the COC website.

Please answer these questions in the comments or medical section during the sign up process, in addition to signing the waiver. Your coordinator has been instructed to remove you from the event if you do not answer or comply with these questions. Failure to follow the guidelines could result in you being evicted from the event even after it has commenced. Your coordinator has this discretion and you could be reported to the club if you create problems. The COC is attempting to keep all members safe and asks for your respect during these difficult times. If you do not wish to follow these temporary restrictions you should not sign up but are welcome to continue after the restrictions have been removed.

Note that the coordinator has not done this trail before so please be patient. Please go to the included link below and read the write up explaining the trail. Be aware that there was extensive flood damage to the trail but repair work has been done. It will still be but be rugged in places . Please come prepared as we will attempt to reach the Third Lake if the conditions are safe.

This hike should afford great views and will go ahead regardless of conditions (barring lightning).

Waterfalls, tarns, and cliffs will be included in this hike. Starting from the Ribbon Creek Trail head we will follow the creek valley along the well-known trail and then turn right onto a lesser known trail that many people pass by. This is an unsigned path which leads through a forested valley past several raging waterfalls to the three Memorial Lakes. Expect the terrain to be steep and rough going to the second lake with possibly some scrambling to the third lake.

Since this area is frequently visited by bears, we will stay in a close group. Please bring bear spray. No bear bells please.
