This will be a backcountry overnight at a designated campsite. Enjoy beautiful lake and mountain views at this scenic site. The trail continues through forested terrain to Forks Backcountry Campground, before climbing a steep headwall and accessing Three Isle Lake Backcountry Campground. No fires permitted. Expect possible early winter conditions. . There are pit/vault toilets and secure food storage lockers here. It's also Golden Larch viewing season.
If we get there early enough, there are options to do side trips or go fishing. Expect about 3-4 hours to hike in give or take. Backcountry glamping at its finest. Individual tenting required unless you have a cohort to share your tent.
